WLSE with remote APs

I have a project to realise with autonoumus APs. the APs are places in distant places connected to private network via VSAT.

For my case the need of centralised management with WCS need to support H-REAP this which is not supported with my AP1231G.

I wanna to ask if for remote APs I can use WLSE for that solution and if you have something to expalain how do that.

Yes you can use the cisco WLSE for remote management of standalone cisco aironets, but there are some requirements:

- cdp for auto discovery (like ciscoworks, lms)

- snmp must be enabled

- need for wds

The features which it offers are:

- Centralized configuration management

- Reporting

- Self Healing

- Sitesurvey / Re-Sitesurvey

- IDS

- Heatmaps
