Cisco Network Assistant doen't list Port Settings

Hello!

In 'Cisco Network Assistant' i'm not getting a list of interfaces in (Configure/Ports) "Port Settings". Does anyone know this problem and also know the solution?

I'm using a Catalist 4506, four Catalyst 3524-XL and six Catalist 3548-XL. Cisco Network Assistant 5.1 (v4 previously) is installed to control them but no show in the Port Settings... listing on any of them. I'm getting port settings on individual ports but i also want to work with the list. Can anyone help me? (it worked before)

Regards,

Bas Rijsdijk

This could be due to some runtime exception in the code. To check, open Java console by clicking key "F2" when CNA window has focus - if you see exception thown in the Java console then that would be a bug an the reason why you do not see any ports listed in the dialog.

Hi,

Thanks for the responce.

This is the result what i am getting when i first want to list the port settings from a 'Catalyst 3548-XL' followed bij getting a list from from a 'Catalyst 4506'. (the 3548 is much older than the 4506) Different than i told before, i'm getting results from the 'Catalyst 4506'(last 3 lines) and no results from the 'older' 'Catalyst 3524-XL' and 'Catalyst 3548-XL';

Are the older switches not supported?

Thanks in advance!

As seen in the console exception, this is a bug. It should be fixed in the next CNA release (5.2)

Ok?, thanks. I'll check the website regularly...

Best regards, Bas Rijsdijk.

Hello again,

I just downloaded release 5.2 and installed it. The problem persists. Any ideas?
