The SystemOID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.560
The version of RME I am using 4.0.4 we verified the configs as with all other the devices we have in CiscoWorks but we get an error RCMD Sev4 RCMDDNSFail DNS hostname/IP address mismatch. 172.18.20.11(CiscoWorks) unknown to DNS.
I went in RME>Admin>System Preferences>LogLevel Settings and ran a debug against the failed devices. Attached is the log file.

Here is the error in Archive Mgmt.
Failed to fetch config using RCP.Error Message : Permission denied. Verify RCP is enabled or not.
The selected protocol are I have configured is:
Telnet
TFTP
SSH
RCP
HTTPS

The portion of the log above does not help. Clear out the dcmaservice.log, reproduce the problem to the ONE AFFECTED DEVICE, then attach the new log (zip it if need be).
Note: if you're really using RME 4.0, you should upgrade to at least LMS 2.5.1 with RME 4.0.4.

What protocol should be succeeding for this device?
07-02-2007 10:26 AM
Telnet or TFTP should be succeeding, i'm not sure why it's looking for RCP

Then your problem is DCR credentials. It looks like you only have an SNMP RO community string configured in DCR for this device. You need to add an SNMP RW string (for TFTP) and a username, password, and enable password (for telnet).

Thanks, I will let our Network Engineers in what changes are needed to be made for these devices.
