LACP channel on same or different blades?

This a fairly basic question, but I can't seem to reach a conclusion.

I have a 6500 with sup7203b running native IOS, NSF/SSO. There are two 6548-RJ-45 blades each with a DFC3b. I want to create a two-port L2 LACP channel. Is there any performance reason I would put the ports on one blade or one port on each blade? Any performance subtleties or pointers to in-depth performance factors would be appreciated. many TIA

The only reason i think of confiuring etherchannel across 2 different blades is that it mitigates the risk of a single blade failure.

Performance should not be an issue.

Thanks. my thoughts, too, but ...

turns out that the IOS 12.2SX cmd guide has a caveat that blades with DFC3B cards:

"All ports in a channel must be on same DFC-equipped module. You cannot configure any of these ports to be on other modules."
