Cisco7206 reporting %FIB-4-FIBBADSNMPPREFIX errors

Answered Question

This alarm does not appear to be causing any service impact but was noticed on the log of the

Cisco 7206VXR, therefore I would like to investigate and find out the cause/reason. This router was recently been brought into production. The IOS version in use is c7200p-advsecurityk9-mz.124-11.T2.bin

The error is as follows:

%FIB-4-FIBBADSNMPPREFIX: Invalid prefix passed to CEF SNMP walker (, -Traceback= 0x184176C 0x1A83840 0x1E0290C 0x1E01214 0x24CA65C 0x24CE96C 0x24BE350 0x24EAA8C 0x132D090

Many thanks

I have this problem too.

This is CSCsi02671. No workaround. Fixed in the next maintenance release.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
