Hi everyone,

i got this error this morning not sure why but it caused users to stop being able to access their voicemails can someone tell me why this happened and how to prevent this again? Thanks

This can happen when the Unity system CPU is pegged. Technical details - (PersonalGreeting) greeting for call handler id[3052] with alias[ch_kking]. returned [0x80004005] on line 1173 of file E:\Views\CU4.2.0.110\un_Conv1\Scripted\ConvSub\PHGreeting.cpp.

did a restart solved the problem?

if you are logging into unity using remote desktop with the /console. this might be your problem.

Solution upgrade your remote desktop application.

Hi,

i'm having the exact same error, the difference is that i have restored a backed up cisco unity and restored into a new server with DIRT. how did you finally solved the issue?

the solution for me was to change the codec the server was installed with. it was g729 at the first instance, and the i did changed it to g711
