Hello,
I copied the asa bin file for the software version 7.2(2) to disk0 on the ASA 5520 and ran the command:
conf t
boot system disk0:/asa722-k8.bin
reload
I pressed Y to save config and the ASA 5520 rebooted, but it is not using the new asa 7.2(2)software image. I ran the boot system command above again and it states "ERROR:unable to set this url, it has already been set remove the first instance before adding this one"
I am a newbie, please help!
Thanks.

Hello Anna,
Here is what you need to do-
(Assuming that filename for 7.1.2 image is asa712-k8.bin)
asa(config)# no boot system disk0:/asa712-k8.bin
The issue is, you did set the ASA to boot from 7.2(2), however, there already existed a boot entry which was pointing to 7.1.2 and it was the first entry. Hence ASA booted from 7.1.2. We need to remove this boot entry first. After this when your reload, ASA will have only one boot entry pointing to 7.2(2) image.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Vibhor.
