We have CCM 3.3.5 I have a 7961G- GE with four line appearances and two speed dials. I would like to make one of the line appearances a phone in the department where the user can see if that person is on the phone. I have set the line a a shared line. Is there another way to do this?
With the version of CM you are referencing it's either shared line appearance or using Attendant Console which will allow you to see phone states.
With CM 5.1 you can use BLF to see the line presence state.
