New CCNA exams starting in Aug and old expiring in nov

According to Cisco's site, The last day to take the INTRO and ICND exams will be 11/6/07. There are two new tests available 8/1/07 called ICND1 and ICND2. Or if you don't want to take the two tests, you will be able to take 640-802 CCNA starting 8/1 which is replacing 640-801.

My question is this, I passed the INTRO exam in May and was planning on taking the ICND in December, after I complete my fourth semester of training. Now I will have to take the new ICND2 exam, will that along w/ my INTRO give me my CCNA Certification?

Any thoughts?

I have this problem too.

I just found my own answer on Cisco's site:

If I pass the INTRO exam and pass ICND2, will I achieve CCNA certification?

Answer

Yes. The INTRO 640-821 exam can be combined with the ICND2 640-816 exam to complete CCNA certification for as long as the INTRO exam is valid?up to three years from date that you pass the INTRO exam, per standard policy.

The INTRO 640-821 and ICND 640-811 exams will not be available after November 6, 2007.
