CME and SRST

Hi all,

I would like to know whether using a centralised call processing environment with one CME and a distributed CUE setup, therefore, every spoke site has a NM-CUE installed, can I have SRST on the spoke sites' routers which provide VM locally.

Therefore, the IP phones will register to the centralised CME and if there is a WAN outage, then they will register to the CME locally which provides VM services.

Hi,

I think that SRST is only available as a Callmanager backup not a backup for CME.

yeah, lpezj is right. instead of doing that why not do a distributed independent design of every site with their own CME and CUE (since NM-CUE is available at all sites) and link them (the sites) together through dial peers.
