WLAN Setup for 500m range

hi guys,

i was wondering if you could help me. i have a client which would like us to setup a wireless network at his house that has a range of 1km but at least 500m full strength . The terrain look relative even and there dosen't seem to be much in the way that could block the signal. i have attached a pic of the area so that you can see what i mean ( area is 500m radis ). the network needs to be omni directional and needs to be 54mg or higher.

I was thinking going to his house and setting up a router with 24ohm outdoor antennas on his roof. could this work?

i was also thinking of the network traffic issue because the network is also going to be used for gaming sessions which is the main reason for the network.

as far as i know there could be upto 100 people on the network at one time.

could some one please help me with what products i would need or a better idea for implementing the system.

Think of the amount of power the far-end Wireless card needs to transmit back at this distance.........
