a controller with the WLAN locked

We have inherited a wireless network with 2000 & 4000 controllers. One of the controller has WLAN locked, so when users are attempting to login to this wireless network, they get a prompt, saying ?This network access needs a key to be authenticated; to connect to this WLAN?

I have looked up & down the controller config, but can;t find a place where I would unlock that WLAN. Can anyone please point me to where this setting is on the controller?

Thanks.

Unless you know the key, you are probably hosed.

Remove it (the WLAN) and rebuild it.

I would build the second one first and test it. And then get rid of the other one.

Thanks for your response.

The wlan appears with the padlock next to it. We have layer 2 security set to 802.x on the controller and 802.11 data encryption to "wep". Is the padlock the result of enabling layer 2 security or setting the 802.11 data encryption to "wep"?

Thanks again...
