Hi, I am trying to check a WAN link by using the SLA tool and report to a central SNMP collector.
The test consist of sending 20 every 5 minutes.
I tried the following SLA monitor types and none of them gave me all what I needed:
- ICMP Echo: You can't specify the number of packages to send.
- ICMP Patch Jitter: It does not support SNMP at the time (any one knows of any plan to support it?).
- ICMP Jitter: Does not work with Echo but uses ICMP Time stamp packets.
Am I missing something?
regards,
Roque

The View Collection Status window displays Running under Status (third pane from the left). When you select Running, there is a non-zero entry in the ME 1100 Series Collection Index. I am sending all the question and answer which is related to SLA. Please click below link:

hi, thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I can't set a probe at the far end. I just want to send 20 echo "request/reply" every 5minutes and capture the result by SNMP. I am only allowed to use thos ICMP messages.
Regards,
Roque
