Solved: 2821 VWIC-2MFT-T1/E1 on CCM 4.1(3) as MGCP voice gateway

Hi

I have a VWIC-2MFT-T1/E1 card in a cisco 2821 and i have configure E1 PRI. I need to add this card to a callmanager 4.1(3) using MGCP. However the dropdown menu on the new voice gateway page on the CCM doesn't show this card, it only displays Network Modules. Does CCM 4.1(3) support this configuration or i have to have the VWIC in an NM?

Hi,

When you are setting up in CallManager the 2821 as MGCP gateway, select in 'Module in Slot 0' the value NM-4VWIC-MBRD, insert the gateway and you will see the four 2821 subunits in which you will be able to set up your VWIC-2MFT-T1/E1.

Hi Thuo.

I agree with Juan. I think you are using NM-4VWIC-MBRD with VWIC-2MFT-T1/E1. Maybe show runing command will help us understanding your equipment.
