Vrf question

Hi,

We have two core 6509's running VRF. We are required to remove VRF from these, but we are uncertain of the best procedure and practive, and most importantly , the least impact, as we've never removed VRF b4. As these units act as Primary/Secondary units can we have one unit vrf and the non-vrf as we remocve vrf from the configs, so we have no outage on the routing.

Thnx

I assume you are referring to removing the VRF configuration from the interface.

If the vrf's are not catering to any business then i dont think there would be any problem when you remove them. The IP address from the interface is removed when you configure VRF forwarding but not sure whether the same happens when you remove them.
