can't verify image, upgrade trouble

Trying to upgrade a c6k sup720 to IOS s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin

After et upgrade the switch keep hanging at:

Autoboot executing command: "boot disk0:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin"

Loading image, please wait ...

I'm able to do a md5 verify on the image (verify /md5) but not "verify /ios":

Router#verify /md5 disk0:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin

[cut] (disk0:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin) = e3a5218f5d5ac45ac63f459f863da367

Router#

Router#verify /ios disk0:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin

Router#

I have tried several other images all with the same result: the switch just won't boot :-(

What could be wrong?

Do you mean only this image is not booting or the switch is not booting up with any image?

If none of the image is booting, get the switch in rommon and get below command outputs. Let's verify if the boot variables are set correctly and if the switch can read disk0 and bootflash.

- set

- dir disk0:

- dir bootflash:

Hi sshant,

The switch is booting correct from the "fabricimage" s72033-psv-mz.122-17d.SXB11a.bin

I can't get the requested info in rommon state because right now I'm workin from home, but here's the info from the box right now:

FYI:

I did an upgrade of ROMMON (both RP and RP), and now the switch are able to boot from disk0:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin

The c6k is brand new, and it's BAD that Cisco shipped this box with OLD ROMMON software.
