Is it possible to grant Unity permission to WebSA to a user or Domain Group from another domain, different from the domain where Unity server belongs? Thanks.

Hi -

Yes. We have admins in one department and Unity servers installed into 4 different domains currently. You use grantunityaccess for this purpose. FYI - you can either give the domain account Eadmin privileges or here is another way to limit the permissions. For example, you only want to assign the domain account permission to reset subscriber passwords, like a Help Desk user:

1. Create a subscriber on the Unity server with the correct class of service and permissions

2. Run grantunityaccess utility and associate with this subscriber account instead of the EAdmin account

Note: Have the domain users add the Unity server to their Trusted sites in IE.
