Unified Personal Communicator and Unity 4.2/5.0

Hi.

I can see from the datasheets that Unity 4.2/5.0 is supported in CUPC/CUPS.

I there anything specielt there should be configured on the Unity server? (CUPS is using port 143 as default port number).

Yes, install MAPI on Exchange server.

And configure CUPS as a normal IMAP client.

What if you have a Unity 5 VM-only server (not unified) that you want to integrate with the CUPC? On the Unity server, IMAP is disabled. Can we simply set it to automatic and start it?
