For AAR to function, you must configure AAR groups and also ensure that the Automated Alternate Routing Enable clusterwide service parameter is set to True. (The default value for this service parameter specifies False.)

Have you have these settings in place?

AFAIK, with CM 4.2, this is currently not possible. You cannot use AAR when WAN goes down. It can be used only when you are out of Bandwidth.

Also, I believe this feature is on the RoadMap, but not sure as to which version it would be added with.

In 4.2 there is a option that will do just that. On the line appearance there is a section labeled Forward Unregistered Internal and Forward Unregistered External. If you set those to the proper DID number then calls will get routed to the PSTN.

This is assuming the servers are at a central location.

Thx, for your reply but we are running 4.1

And this option is not valuable since when a guy is log off perhaps he prefers to transfert is call to his GSM or to the standard.

Still waiting for a new feature !!

Thx
