clustering over WAN

In SRND 4.x, on the topic of clusting over wan, it states it either supports 4 sites with local failover or 8 sites with remote failover. I think it means the sites where you can have ccms , it does not mean how many branches, right? Since we should have as many as branches as in centralized call process solution. Right? thanks . Just want to get clarification on this

Correct. In this context, the SRND is speaking of the number of sites which have local CCMS. So with single remote CCMs, you can have up to 8 sites. With multiple CCMs at each remote site, you can have up to 4 sites.
