monitor dial access - usernames and ip's

Hi,

I have aaa auth and snmp / syslog running on my Cisco3640 for dial in users. The users are authenticaticated against a Win2k box and the resulting connection info is sent to my syslog/snmp server.

The problem is the info is not very good. It basically only shows if the port has come up and when it goes down again ( i.e. Async 85 up ). I would like the syslog / snmp server to show the username and if possible the assigned dhcp address for all dial in users.

Is this possible ?

I have looked under snmp-server traps and accounting and cant seem to see the correct command set.

Any thoughts ?

cheers

Richard

I think you will have to configure syslog at level 4 or 5 for logging the messages for users logging in through dial up. Following links may help you
