Can't receive a ping reply from anything on the outside interface but the connection is definitely up. Here is what I have in my config:
icmp permit any outside
icmp permit any inside
Is there anything else I need to do?

You need to allow it into your outside interface...
access-list outside_access_in permit icmp any any echo-reply
access-group outside_access_in in interface outside
