MCS7855 Lights Out Board

Unanswered Question

We are trying to order LOB's for MCS7855.

The are manufactured by IBM. parts ordered , 4 x IBM Remote Supervisor Adapter II.

The LoB is a PCI card, which plugs into a PCI slot in the server mother board. There is a cable which plugs into the socket on the LOB, the other end of the cable plugs into a dedicated "remote access socket" on the motherboard. The cables supplied with these LoBs have the wrong plug for this type of server motherboard.

The plug looks like a small CD rom/ HDD style plug, the supplied cable has the same style of plug but smaller. The server is an IBM server, the LoB part No. on the box is 41Y9402, the wrong cable part number is 39Y9568.

Does anyone know what cable part we should order to connect the card to the motherboard.

TIA..Jeff

I have this problem too.
