Hi,
What is the policy regarding IOS upgrades due to security vulnerabilites in existing IOS? Will Cisco allow one to upgrade an IOS if it is an impacted version? If so what is the process for obtaining that upgrade IOS bin file? Do you just go through your normal CCO account?
Thanks!

If you are granted special access, normally TAC doesn't care as long you are happy.

Hi,
if you have customer level access with a support contract, you can download and upgrade at your will.
If you do not have that, in some cases cisco will grant access to fixed images also to customers without a service contract. For this, you have to open a case with the TAC specifying that you are impacted by the "vulnerability".
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Hi,
Is it to a specific version after the vulnerability was fixed or to current?
