Creating template in Call Manager

We are creating a template for a 7961 and have created the template but when setting up the phone, the new template does not show in the drop down box as an option. We have reset the device and it still does not show up. Is there anything additional that needs to be done to be able to select the new template or make it appear in the drop down box. We are running Call Manager 4.1 Thanks.

One thing to keep in mind here is ensure that the Phone is a 7961G and not a 796-GE. The template for both the phones are different and you cannot use the same for both the phones. To know the exact phone model, you can search for the Phone on CM Admin page and it will show wether this is a GE model or not
