If you have an interface with multiple IP addresses, can you control which IP Address the source of the keepalive comes from to monitor the service?

I have another question:

If I have a CSS in one armed config with VLAN1 that has two IP addresses in two different subnets:

1.2.3.4

2.4.6.8

My VIPs are in subnet 1.2.3.4

All my services are in 2.4.6.8

If client web requests are to 1.2.3.4, is this where the traffic originates from on the CSS to the service IP addresses?
