Connection on 805 router

Hi All,

One of our customer Bird is using 805 router and facing packet loss and input error while negotiating with our Reliance CISCO high end routers. We have changed the settings of encapsulation from PPP to FR ( as suggested by NNOC) but still problem did not get resolved. Can you guys pls share if you someone come accross such issues at your respective circles with any of customer's using Cisco-805 router and problem got resolved. If you have any possitive solution pls respond on priority.

You must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper task IDs for POS commands. To perform Cisco HDLC, PPP, and Frame Relay tasks, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper task IDs for HDLC, PPP, and Frame Relay commands.

Hi Arun

What kinda connectivity you have with your SP ?

Also the bandwidth capacity of the link connected on the serial port of the Cisco 805 router.

Normally Cisco 805 router support only upto 512Kbps .

Are you seeing packet loss and errors on the wan interface of the router ?
