Password information for Callmanager 4.0

Hi

does anybody know how you can reset or find the following passwords for callmanager. I have a client asking for this information and we only have the admin password for the system.

DC directory

SQL sa password

Can these be reset if lost without complete re install

Hello,

There is an utility that you can use to reset these passwords. The utility is called adminutility. Here is a link explaining how to use it. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a0080557ba5.shtml

Be sure to run this after hours as it stops services.

To change the SQL SA

Account Password you need to do the following:

1) Select Start > Programs, Microsoft SQL Server > Enterprise Manager.

2) Follow the tree down until you see Security > Logins.

3) Highlight Logins in the left window.

4) You will see all the accounts configured in SQL.

5) Highlight the SA account and hit the right button.

6) Choose Properties in the window that appears.

7) The password should be on the General tab.

8) Change the Password and either press OK or Apply.

Please follow the above steps to reset the SA password on all servers in the cluster.
