voice port configuration

Below is the partial configuration.

My Query is when 3/0/0 and 3/0/1 ports are busy with local calls (calls starting with non zero numbers), then the local calls should be established on 2/1/x which are configured for calls starting with '0'. This configuration is not working, needs modification. Pls help in this

Hi,

suggest that you configure all the ports that are connected to PSTN, in trunk-group. This will allow you to configure a single DP pots for each destinan-pattern, with said trunk-group as destination instead of port.

Once you do this the configuration is much reduced and so chances of error.

If still problems after that,please postif "IP Telephony" forum.

Hope this helps, pleaserate post if it does!

hi

u are geting this result because of wrong conf

put a dial-peer with destination pattern with 0 and atatch it port 2/1/x (also put preference 9 on the dial peer)

any for good sake use diffrent preferences on each dail-peer

plz rate this if u like
