Will enrolling in a ccnp course extend expiring ccna certification

Unanswered Question

I'm from the Phil and just arrived here in Aventura, FL. My ccna certification will expire on Aug/next month. Will taking a ccnp course/subject extend my expiring ccna certification? Anybody there knows where I can take ccnp near Aventura? Tried the academy locator, but to no avail. Appreciate any assistance.Thanks.

I have this problem too.

No, enrolling or participating in a class / course will not extend your CCNA.

You must pass (at least) one additional exam to continue your certification. It can be the designated CCNA tests, or any 642-xxx ("professional level") exam, or a CCIE written exam.

Good Luck

Is the Express Foundation Field Specialist test 642-381 considered a "professional level" exam and thus extends CCNA / CCDA ?
