CWDM - frame and crc errors

I am trying to bring up a cwdm network. I have a 4 wavelengths all are within the cwdm power budget of -29 to -7 dBm hanging off of 4 separate muxes (cwdm-mux8a). I get link no problem. However whenever I try to put any traffic over any of the wavelengths I get frame and crc errors on the receiving cisco interface. Anybody run into this or any thoughts as to what may be the cause??

Thanks.

Rich,

Just a thought, but I would first try replacing your "sending" CWDM GBIC and see if that clears your CRC's on your recieving interface. I have also seen CRC's on CWDM with bad or dirty fiber uplinks, bad splices along the fiber backbone, or possibly dirty bulk-heads along the fiber path....

Most of the time, in my experience, it seems to be a physical layer issue...
