INTRO Worthless?

Unanswered Question

Ok, I am very worried about this, I passed the INTRO exam, but now Cisco is bringing out the new exams and I will not be ready to take ICND within the time frame.

Will INTRO act as a substitute for ICND1? Or did I just waste $125?

I have this problem too.

Your test should be good for three years after you passed it.

Even if (for example) you took it yesterday and today they changed the test to new series, the test you took yesterday will be good for three years (or whatever the stated duration of eligibility is, usually two or three years, depending on the test).

And, as memtioned many times before, you can always check the "Certification Tracking System" tool (link to the right of this page)and it will give you specifics for what you've done, how you did, and expiration dates.

Good Luck

Well, the thing is, I won't be able to take the ICND test to complete INTRO ever because it's going out.

I wanted to know if Cisco was going to allow INTRO to replace ICND1 of the new CCNA exams.
