SRR - Shape and Share command on interface

Hi, I am having trouble understanding the following configuration:

srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 40 40

srr-queue bandwidth shape 100 0 0 0

queue-set 2

The Cisco documentation says "If the egress priority queue is disabled and the SRR shaped and shared weights are configured, the shaped mode overrides the shared mode for queue 1, and SRR services this queue in shaped mode" so why would anyone bother configuring both a shaped and a shared mode if the shaped is going to take priority?

srr-queue bandwidth shape 100 0 0 0

Because the weight ratios for queues 2, 3, and 4 are set to 0, these queues operate in shared mode. The bandwidth weight for queue 1 is 1/100, which is 1 percent

I see. Where does the formula 1/100 come from?
