Hi, last year I bought a Cisco WS-C2950T-8-LRE + PS-1M-LRE-48 + Cisco585-LRE, they are working good. Now I would like to implement the same devices but they are end-of-sale. Wihch technology can I use to accomplsh the same task?

I want to extend my ethernet over single pair.

Thanks a lot

Regards

Lp

Hi,

Cisco seems to have killed this product line without offering any replacements. If you just want to extend ethernet over a single pair then you'll need to look at non-Cisco products.

Do an internet search on "ethernet extender" to see some example solutions or try calling your local "Black Box" office...

Hello.

We have just recently finished implementing "LRE" solution. We were stumbled by EOS of Cisco's LRE.

The solution we went with was

AAM1212-51

as 12-port DSLAM and then 1x and 4x port modems:

P-660H-T3

P-660R-63C
