I am working on a situation with a customer who wants to move some traffic from ISP A to ISP B. I'm thinking that changing MEDs or AS Path prepending will solve the issue, am I correct?
A very rough drawing is attached, but basically, they are being slammed with traffic from ISP A and they want to take a block of addresses and have the traffic destined to those addresses to come in from ISP B.
Please let me know if I'm thinking correctly or if I'm out in left field.
Thanks in advance!!!

If it is the inbound traffic from the ISPs you are thinking correctly. AS Path prepending is the best way to go as this puts the control in your hands. With meds you have to hope that the ISP providers will pay attention to them.

Additionally, MEDs would only work if you were connecting to the same upstream provider on both link.
Hope this helps,
