GLBP with two interfaces on the same 3845

I have a 3845 connecting to two 6509s. The 6509s are just switches (layer 2). My servers are connecting to the 6509s. I'm looking at ways to make the interfaces on the 3845 redundant. Has anyone used GLBP on two interfaces that are on the same 3845 router?

Friend,

GLBP is an advanced gateway loadbalacing protocol which provides redundancy as well as loadsharing. The interfaces participating in GLBP lie in the same subnet and hence a common Virtual IP address is chosen to which the routers respond depending on the algorithm used.

A router cannot have 2 interfaces on the sam subnet unless you bridge those interfaces and hence the solution you are trying to achieve will not work.
