The syntax for the banner command is:
banner motd {char} {banner text} {char}
where the char is the delimiting character..
you can configure
config t
Banner motd #

Thank you Narayan, Once I add this message and save it, how do I go in and modify or remove phone number or name?

Just Edit the phone number in your notepad. Then re paste your message again. In you configuration the # is the breaker. As long as you have no # within your message before the last character which marks the end of message, you should be fine
