Anyone have any idea what this means? We are using a 2000 WLC and this is filling up our syslog.

07-17-2007 14:33:19 Local0.Critical [ERROR] apf_utils.c 642: 00:15:00:34:59:b1 WEBAUTH_REQD (8) Rejecting association attempt - privacy bit set on WLAN not requiring security

I have this problem too.

A client is sending an association request on a security-enabled WLAN with the protected bit set to 0 (in the Capability field of the association request). As designed, the controller rejects the association request, and the client sees an association failure. As a workaround try configuring authentication on the client.
