I have a pre-configured 3560 switch that is not connected to the network and I am trying to console in but it looks for the Radius server and password. How can I disable that password on the console port to get in and make my configuration changes...Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately it seems that the pre-configuration of AAA has only RADIUS for authentication with no fall back to the local accounts (have you tried a local configured username and password!), if this is the case you'll have to either connect this switch to the network to be able to contact the RADIUS or do password recovery:

HTH,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

Got it.. Thanks

Hi

I think u have locked out urself i.e in u r radius config they might have not enabled the next login method should be enable or local username and password.try if u can access it with any local username and password.if u r not able to get access then u need to do the password recovery.

Hope this link will help u .
