I have a PIX 506e and needed multiple vlans to separate internal traffic. So i purchased a 181 if I use F0 connected to the inside interface of the PIX it will not forward traffic unless I enable NAT. Can this router work in this scenario? I just want it to route traffic, no nat, no firewall, no pat. I was using 10.100.1.0 subnet between devices.

Hi Luke
Could you post configs of router + pix. There is no reason why you cannot connect your router to the pix and then have the clients talk to te router first.

Hi
In the config posted over here i see the pix inside interface and the vlan configured on the router holds the same ip address 192.168.0.1...
Can you check that part ?

I had to change it to the original config. and remove the router so I could get them back up. it was set to 10.100.1.1
from the 192 network I could ping the router 10.100.1.2 but not the pix 10.100.1.1
if I enabled nat I could ping 10.100.1.1 but I do not want nat on the router since it is inside the pix

Does the router config look correct to pass all traffic to the FE0 interface? I just want all non internal traffic 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.20.0/24 to be routed out 10.100.1.2. This does not seem to be working.
