Hello

Is there a way by which i can configuring the bandwidth for a single isdn channel. We have Isdn pri between mumbai n chennai. This link carries voice as well as data and is configured for DDR.Now the codec used is g729 24kbps with overhead. As an isdn channel is 64 kbp we can put two calls on a single channel. But this violates the rules as per the isp which could lead to a legal issue. So can we change the bandwidth to 24 kbps for each isdn channel which would suffice our need. Thanks in advance

Hi,

you cannot change the bandwidth on ISDN data channels. if you want to limit the number of calls, configure "max-conn" under you DP's.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
