Your subject line says CCDP, but your message references CCNP.

Either way, the recertification requirements are the same:

"Complete one of the following recertification options:

* Pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06

* Pass any current CCIE written exam"

Reference:

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/learning_about_recertication.html

You MUST re-certify (by meeting one of the above requirements) BEFORE your certification expires, or you have to start all over.

If you login to http://www.cisco.com/go/certifications/login, you can easily see what your recertification options and requirements are for all of your current certifications, as well as your progress toward other certifications.

Does this mean that if someone has a valid CCDP and CCNP certitication, both of those certifications can be recertified by just passing the BSCI OR BCMSN exam (Just one not both)? (As both of these exams are part of CCNP/CCDP Curriculum)

Yes. Any 642 professional level exam will renew BOTH. If you have both, you can verify this by logging into the Certification Tracking System tool at https://www.certmanager.net/cisco/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fCisco%2fDefault.aspx , clicking the header for "Certification Progress", and clicking the "Cisco Career Certification" sub-header. From there, scroll down to CCNP, and click the button with ">" on it (just below the text that says when your certification expires). This will show you a graphic with all of your recertification requirement possibilities laid out in a hierarchical folder format. You can do the same for CCDP.

Passing any current 642 professional exam should renew both. Make SURE you do this BEFORE your CCNP/CCDP expires. Note also that the 642 professional level exam that you pass DOES NOT HAVE to be part of the CCNP/CCDP curriculum at all. As a matter of fact, it's kind of pointless to take an exam for the CCNP/CCDP curriculum if you already have both. Take an exam for another professional level certification (or the CCIE written exam) instead, and it will still renew your CCNP/CCDP (if you pass, of course), as well as move you closer to your next certification.
