Configuring SNMP on Catalyst Express 500 Switch

Hi all,

I need to enable certain snmp traps and forward the snmp traps from a Catalyst Express 500 Switch to a network management host. How can I do this in the web interface for this switch? I can enable SNMP and also enter the community string. But how can I enable certain traps and send to a server management host?

Enable SNMP if you plan to have the switch managed through another network management application. By default, SNMP is disabled.

You could try using the Trap Managers tab in the SNMP Management window under Device Properties of Cisco Network Assistant
