Degree of difficulty

Unanswered Question

Does anyone have any idea of the difference in difficulty between the old and new tests? I am just starting out and am trying to get done by the date in November. I am just curious if it is better to wait at this point.

Thanks

I have this problem too.

If you've already invested time and money on study materials for the exam that will be retiring soon, I would just keep on going with that track. But if you haven't spent money on study materials yet, go for the updated exams.

Getting a certification isn't just about being able to say that you have it (especially with the lower level certs). It's more about what you get out of obtaining it. The newer exams will cover more relevant topics, which will make your skills that much more valuable.

Thanks for the heads up. No doubt I would much rather learn than just know whats on the test. I am curious of the difficulty between the two tests. Since no one has taken the new one yet. I will have to wait to know that.
