Can a ASA5505 be used with PPOA DSL service? If so, how? The ASA5505 sits behind a PPOA DSL router/modem.
I would appreciate feedback.

If, Before 5505 if you put Router than YES otherwise NO.
Because if you are looking by question mark.. It is not supporting to ATM.
Put Router as a Perimeter and configure on it ATM by using guide below link.

To my knowledge, the ASA will not support the PPoA service. but PPPoE combines two widely accepted standards, Ethernet and PPP, to provide an authenticated method of assigning IP addresses to client systems. PPPoE clients are typically personal computers connected to an ISP over a remote broadband connection, such as DSL or cable service. ISPs deploy PPPoE because it supports high-speed broadband access using their existing remote access infrastructure and because it is easier for customers to use.
