Cisco 7209 IP Phone Password Recovery

Hello Guys,

We are trying to replace the IP address of our 7209 IP Phone but it was asking for a password, we tried cisco or 24726 but it wont accept it. No one remembers the password anymore, is there a way to reset this to factory default?

Thank you in advance, I've tried googling for it but I just can't hit the right search results.

Hi Sherwin,

Enter the key sequence *7#9#2#0#* to reset the phone to factory defaults (if this is a 7920 Wireless phone). This will allow you to reset the IP Address.
