I have a customer that does not have enough switch ports and his budget is running tight. He was wondering if he can daisy chain the phones at least two phones to one port on the switch. He wanted me to find out if there "other customers" ran into issues. If somone from the post can share if they had problems or it just worked fine.By reading on Cisco website they recommend you change the parameter forward delay. However, I am still reluctant to say it would work 100%.

A friend of mine has tried this and it works, but the phones that are not directly connected into the POE switch will need there own power bricks.

Have they experience voice quality issues.

There will be no voice quality issues. A voice call is 80 Kbps and the phone's switch works at 100 Mbps wire-speed.

He mentioned that it ran just fine.
