I searched the cisco.com site for this issue for hours, but don`t find any glue on this.
We habe a Cisco 5505 with CatO
[SWS-C5505 Software, Version McpSW: 5.5(13a) NmpSW: 5.5(13a)]
and a Switch with LACP.
I think, the Cisco 5505 can do LACP, but we need a newer CatOS, right ?
Thanks Ronny

Hi Ronny,
CAT 5500 does not support 802.3ad (LACP) since LACP support was introduced in CatOS 7.1 and 7.1 software is not available for cat5500 platform.
So if the other switch is Cisco switch you can use PAGP and if it is not cisco switch then you need to use mode "ON" to make etherchannel up and running.

It`s a "cheap" Dlink ES-3350SR, so no Cisco with PAGP.
But your answer helps me a lot, i rated your post :)
Thank you very much. Ronny
