We have a requirement to identify any user that tries to connect to the network that has NOT done so for 3 months.
Theses users could exist anywhere across the enterprise of 12000 users.
The objective is to try and reclaim application licences from these PCs that are not used very much.
We have a MAC address list obtained from our Ciscoworks Managament platform LMS 2.5 which details MAC addresses by when they were last seen on the network.
The question is how can we now identify or highlight (or even better, shutdown their port) when a PC who's MAC address fits this profile then tries to connect to the network.
We do not use 802.1x.
Hope you can help.
Thanks in anticipation.
