Call Manager Express Icon

I have a 7960 model phone that connects to call manager express router. This 7960 phone has two phone lines configured. The main line was showing an "X" through his phone icon on his main line and the line was unavailable. Does anyone what was the "X" represents?

I assume you are using SIP.

X means not registered.

Hi Robert,


This usually means that the Line in question also appears on another phone and is "in use" like in a Shared Line scenario (Manager/Secretary).
